Boston duo Timeflies combine pop songwriting styles with the studio tricks and big sound of EDM. Members Rob Resnick (producer) and Cal Shapiro (vocals) first met while playing in the Ride, a funk band that gigged around Tufts University. They formed Timeflies in 2010, and a year later self-released their debut album, The Scotch Tape, the title being a reference to Shapiro's love of drinking Scotch.
