Jamie Lynn Marie Spears is an American actress, singer, and the younger sister of recording artist Britney Spears. In 2005, she came to prominence after being cast in the Nickelodeon television series Zoey 101, where she portrayed the titular character Zoey Brooks. In 2007, sixteen-year-old Spears generated controversy after announcing her pregnancy. She gave birth to daughter Maddie Aldridge the following year, effectively sending her career into hiatus. In 2013, Spears relaunched her career as a country music recording artist, and released her debut single "How Could I Want More". The Journey is the debut EP of American country singer Jamie Lynn Spears. "How Could I Want More" was released as the album's lead single on 26 November 2013 by Sweet Jamie Music, Inc. On 13 May 2014, Spears released teasers of 4 new songs (Shotgun Wedding, Mandolin Summer Sun, Big Bad World, and Run,) on her Instagram with the hashtag, "JLSTheJourney." The Journey is scheduled for released on 27 May 2014.
