Semi Precious Weapons make flamboyant, high-energy rock influenced by both '70s glitter rock and '80s dance-punk. Formed in New York City in 2006, the band originally featured fellow Berklee College of Music grads singer/songwriter Justin Tranter, bassist Cole Whittle, guitarist Aaron Lee Tasjan, and drummer Dan Crean. A year later, Semi Precious Weapons released their full-length independent debut, We Love You, featuring production from both Tony Visconti (David Bowie) and Mario McNulty (T. Rex)....
